Ronnate D. Asirwatham is the Director of Policy and Advocacy at Bridges Faith Initiative, where she works with faith leaders o immigration, civilian security, and ending mass atrocities. Previously, she was Senior Policy Advisor for the Global Campaign for Education-U.S. Ronnate has 10 years’ experience lobbying and advocating on Capitol Hill and the administration on issues of foreign policy, appropriations, immigration, and civilian security. She has also advocated with the United Nations in New York and Geneva.
Asirwatham graduated from the Fletcher School, Tufts University with a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) and from the University of Essex UK with a Master of Laws (LLM). In 2009, she was awarded the Hellmann-Hammet award in recognition for her commitment to free expression internationally.
